How do I book you?

Request a session here! We'll video chat about your ideas, possible logistics, and the booking process. 

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. To book a date, after consultation, a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required. It goes toward your final bill, and is transferrable for up to one acceptable reschedule.

Do you do family portraits? Engagements? Weddings?
I do not currently offer family event services. I cater to the various portrait needs of the performing arts.

Do I get to choose my final photos?
Mostly, yes! We'll set up a video call (typically a few days after our session), when I've had a chance to do an initial sorting of the photos. We'll go over them together, and you'll rank your favorites! The final amount of photos to be delivered is estimated during our initial pre-session consultation, but will be more narrowed down during that post-session review.

Can I have the RAW images?
Nope! This artist doesn't sell rough drafts. 

Do you have a studio? 
I do not currently operate out of my own studio. There are multiple options for locations (indoor and outdoor) at different price points, tailored to the concept of our session.

Do you offer makeup or hair services? 
I do not personally offer these services, but can make recommendations for local artists. 

Can I bring a friend? 
Absolutely! Bringing a trusted person can make you feel comfortable & can help spot some detail adjustments on set. Please no children or pets, though.

How much of my body do you edit?
My general rule for retouching is that I only edit what is temporary (like blemishes) or changed by lighting (like under eye bags). I do not alter permanent aspects of your body. However, you can make specific requests during our post-session review. You can also look here for a variety of examples of before/after.

What if I don't want my images shared?
Sharing images is an essential part of marketing my business to new clients, so I do charge an additional fee for exclusivity rights. 

Can I purchase prints?
I do not currently offer prints, but can provide a larger file copy for printing on your own, upon request.

Can I sell merch with my photo on it?  
You can use the images we make together to advertise and sell your products/services, but selling any products with the image itself on it requires separate licensing to be purchased.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, and Paypal. 

Where are you located?
I am based out of Chicago, with the ability to travel at an additional cost.
